This book is the author’s memoir that has mainly dwelt on her early years of life into her adolescence to adulthood. An alley is a narrow road or path between buildings, especially between the backs of buildings. A valley is a low area of land between hills or mountains, typically with a river or stream flowing through it.
This book is about the few years that she has lived, the author believes that she hasn’t yet seen her highest highs despite having been privileged to see some really low points of her life. It’s been a journey through the valley but with God as a river sustaining that journey and preserving her no matter how low in the valley she might have gone. Besides the valley there has been an alley. A lot of great things that have happened to her started in the background. Every life process has had a unique twist to it. Nothing was ever done like ‘business as usual’, she has always had a ‘back of the building narrow road or valley’ kind of situation happening in a lot of circumstances.
Alleys and valleys is a story of a life on the potter’s wheel that is being subjected to different phases and processes but with the aim of ending up with a fine product.
