University life, the life we are all excited to get into and experience. We are all excited to get into university for various reasons. For some, it is for the freedom that comes with university life, finally they can get away from their parents or guardians. And Some, it is for them to get away from problems. For others, it is for them to make new friends and hopefully meet their life partner.
There are many other reasons why many are exited for university and one main reason which is also the most common amongst all students, is the opportunity to finally pursue the career of their dreams. However, once you get into university there are many other things you might have never thought of that you will experience. These un-thought things would put on a toil on you and cause you to make mistakes that would make you fail to achieve the main goal and reason for being in university. I am a victim of these mistakes that many students make. Let me give you some background information about myself. I scored 804 at my grade seven exams and this was the highest score the school I was at had ever recorded then. I also scored 510 at my grade 9 exams and this was the second highest score in all the government schools in my province. At my grade twelve exams I scored 6 points which is the best score for grade twelve. You can see that I had a good record in my primary and secondary school level. With these grades it seemed likely that I would perform so well at university. However, at university things were not so. I made mistakes and failed in so many courses. Life in university was not easy for me and I broke down and gave up. I stopped studying for two months straight in my first academic year. By God’s grace and mercy, He saw me through and He got me back on my feet just before the end of the academic year. Even though I did not perform so well at least I got back on my feet and kept pushing. This book has been written with the purpose to help you not to make the mistakes that I made myself and also the mistakes that those who have failed before made. This book will help you succeed in your university academic life.
